Mode Music artists:
After many years of following the drum n' bass scene, DJ Jaw got into mixing his chosen genre in 1996 on belt-driven turntables. He steadily began building up his vinyl collection, with heavyweight tunes from labels such as No U Turn, Tru Playaz , Dread Recordings and Moving Shadow.
A few years were spent tirelessly practicing on his turntables - improving on his deejay skills and building up his vinyl collection. In 1998, DJ Jaw felt it was the right time to invest in some Technics 1210s and enroll in college to study music technology and studio engineering. After playing a few parties and free raves, his reputation as a quality hard-hitting deejay with heavyweight sets was quickly established. DJ Jaw was offered residencies in several promotions and clubs within the county including the notorious Safe and Evolution.
He can now been seen killing dancefloors throughtout the South West, supporting the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, Tech Itch, Kenny Ken and Pendulum.
